About the event
The Carbine Club of Tokyo will hold its inaugural Japan Cup Luncheon from 12:30 pm through 4:00 pm on Friday, 22 November 2024.
This event promises will bring together racing professionals and enthusiasts to celebrate and preview one of Japan’s premier racing events.
One of our special guests will be trainer Yuichi Shikato, with more than 450 career wins under his belt. Many consider him well on the way to becoming the Bart Cummings of Japanese racing. Yuichi tasted victory in the Japan Cup in 2008 as trainer of Screen Hero. The chestnut champion’s racing career ended all too soon with a serious leg injury. He retired to stud in 2010.
